Your surgeon and our pre-operative nursing team will provide detailed instructions specific to your procedure. Generally, you'll be asked to fast after midnight, adjust certain medications, and arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home. We'll confirm all preparations during your pre-surgery consultation.
We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our admissions team will verify your coverage before your procedure and provide a cost estimate whenever possible. Please call us at (954) 391-9995 to confirm your specific plan.
Most outpatient procedures use minimally invasive techniques that significantly reduce post-operative discomfort. Our anesthesia team selects the appropriate pain management plan for each patient, and we provide detailed post-operative instructions to ensure a smooth recovery at home.
Most same-day procedures take between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the complexity. You should plan to be at our facility for approximately 4–6 hours total, which includes pre-operative preparation, the procedure itself, and recovery time in our post-anesthesia care unit.
No. For your safety, we require that a responsible adult accompany you and drive you home after any procedure involving anesthesia or sedation. If you are unable to arrange transportation, please notify our office as soon as possible so we can discuss alternatives.
